
Algerian Mustapha Ghorbal to Referee Egypt vs. Ivory Coast Clash
The Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an Algerian officiating team to manage the highly anticipated quarter-final match of the Africa Cup of Nations between Egypt and Ivory Coast.
International Algerian referee Mustapha Ghorbal has been assigned to officiate the game, assisted by his compatriots Akram Zerhouni and Adel Abani. Congolese Jean-Jacques Ngambo will serve as the fourth official.
The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties have been entrusted to Algerian referee Lahlou Benbraham, who will be assisted by Tunisian Khalil Hassani and Sudanese Abdelaziz Yasser Ahmed.
The match between the Egyptian and Ivorian national teams is scheduled for Saturday, kicking off at 9:00 PM (GMT+1), at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir.
