Chelsea Officially Appoint Rosinior as New Head Coach Until 2032
Chelsea Football Club officially announced on Tuesday the appointment of Liam Rosenior as their new head coach. Rosenior replaces Italian Enzo Maresca, who departed the club last week following a series of underwhelming results and a strained relationship with the board.
The 41-year-old English manager, who had been in charge of French side Strasbourg since the summer of 2024, officially signed a long-term contract with Chelsea. The deal runs until 2031, with an option for an additional season, making it one of the longest managerial contracts in the history of the London club.
Rosenior expressed his pride in this exceptional opportunity, describing joining Chelsea as "a great honour and an opportunity I have dreamed of for years."
