Chelsea Goalkeeper Sanchez: "Cucurella Put Yamal in His Pocket"

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez mocked Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal's subdued performance following the English side's dominant 3-0 victory over the Catalan club in the fifth round of the Champions League.

Speaking in post-match press statements, Sanchez declared: "Cucurella put Lamine Yamal in his pocket."

He further added: "All players look great until they face English clubs. They say Barcelona are the favorites? No, we are the favorites."

Yamal struggled to showcase his usual form against Chelsea last Tuesday, as he was effectively contained by his compatriot and Spain national team teammate Marc Cucurella, who successfully neutralized his attacking threat.
