Diaz: "There's Never an Easy Match in the Africa Cup of Nations"
The Moroccan national team qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals after defeating Tanzania 1-0 in the Round of 16.
Brahim Diaz praised the performance of the Tanzanian national team, considering the encounter far from easy, and emphasized that Africa Cup of Nations matches are always played with a 'battle' mentality.
Diaz stated in the post-match press conference: "It was a difficult match. Tanzania played well, so I congratulate them. In the Africa Cup of Nations, there are never easy matches. Since joining the national team, this is my first AFCON tournament, and it has been extremely tough; every match is like a battle."
He added: "The coach made some changes in the second half, and I believe they helped us a lot. Of course, I am very happy to score goals in every match, but the most important thing is to be in the quarter-finals."
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals and will face Cameroon next Friday (20:00 GMT+1), who defeated South Africa.
