
Tunisia's Valery: "We've Started a New Competition, Ready for Strong Performance Against Mali to Reach AFCON Quarter-Finals"
Tunisia national team player Yan Valery believes that reaching the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 marks the start of a new competition, affirming his teammates' readiness to defeat Mali.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Valery said: "We are ready to play a very good match in the Round of 16 against Mali, who are a good team we have faced several times before. Now, a new competition has begun, and we know that we must be extremely focused."
He added: "We have worked well for this match, and as I said, we have prepared ourselves and are ready to deliver a great performance, God willing, and advance to the next round."
Tunisia is scheduled to face Mali tomorrow, Saturday, starting at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
