Infantino Praises Morocco's "Amazing Stadiums" and Hosting of AFCON 2025

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has expressed his strong admiration for Morocco's organization of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, affirming that the host nation is doing an excellent job.

Speaking to Al Sharq Sports channel on the sidelines of the Global Sports Summit in Dubai, Infantino stated: "The Africa Cup of Nations is a wonderful tournament, and Morocco is a great country and an amazing host." He further highlighted the quality of the Kingdom's sports infrastructure, adding, "Morocco has amazing stadiums, and the tournament is very beautiful. I look forward to following the knockout stages."

The FIFA president declined to predict the winner of the final, scheduled for January 18 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. He simply responded with a smile, "The best team will win."

Infantino had previously visited Rabat, where he commended Morocco's role in supporting African football and the festive atmosphere surrounding the tournament's preparations.
