Aboutrika: "Sektioui is a Calm Coach Who Uses Diverse Styles, Blending Mourinho, Enrique, and Arteta"

Former Egyptian international Mohamed Aboutrika, a pundit for Qatar's beIN Sports channels, praised national coach Tarik Sektioui, manager of the Moroccan national reserve team. Aboutrika emphasized that Sektioui's tactical intelligence has enabled him to impose his style in various competitions.

During the analytical studio, Aboutrika stated: "Tarik is a calm coach, and I have followed him in the Olympics, CHAN, and the Arab Cup. In the Olympics, he relied on high pressing and attacking football based on possession. In the CHAN, he was more balanced between direct play and possession."

He continued: "In the Arab Cup, Tarik experimented with all three styles. Sometimes he plays in the manner of Mourinho, at other times he resembles Luis Enrique, and he also adopts Arteta's approach. This versatility is desirable, and it's exhausting for opponents."

Sektioui had previously led the Moroccan national reserve team to win the FIFA Qatar 2025 Arab Cup title, after defeating Jordan 3-2 in the final.
