
Morocco Reserve Team Claims FIFA Arab Cup Title After Epic 3-2 Victory Over Jordan
Morocco's reserve team claimed the Arab Cup title for the second time in its history after defeating Jordan 3-2 in the final match, which took place on Thursday at Lusail Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The Moroccan team managed to take an early lead through Oussama Tannane, who scored a spectacular goal in the fourth minute.
After halftime, the Jordanian squad equalized in the 48th minute through Ali Olwan, who then added a second goal for his team in the 68th minute.
The final match intensified in the dying minutes when Abderrazak Hamdallah, 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute, scored the equalizer for Tarik Sektioui's side, making the score 2-2 and sending the match into extra time.
Hamdallah struck again, scoring the winning goal in the 90+10th minute, to lead Morocco's reserve team to clinch the Arab Cup title for the second time in its history.
