
Morocco's AFCON Rival Zambia Loses 2-0 to DR Congo in Friendly
The Zambian national team suffered a 2-0 defeat against DR Congo in a friendly match played on Tuesday, as both teams continued their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025".
DR Congo opened the scoring through Arthur Masuaku in the 21st minute. Rocky Bushiri then doubled their lead in the 72nd minute of the second half.
Zambia is set to compete in Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations, where they will face Morocco, Mali, and Comoros. The tournament is scheduled to kick off next Sunday.
