AS FAR Rabat players have affirmed their determination to make history and continue their journey in the FIFA Women's Club World Cup, following their qualification for the semi-finals after overcoming China's Wuhan (2-1) in the quarter-finals.

Najat Badri stated in an interview with FIFA's official website: "The opponent was organized and disciplined, but we succeeded in our mission. Everyone knows that AS FAR Rabat is a team that never gives up and is always at the forefront in all competitions. We have made history, as we always do."

Anissa Lahmari, for her part, commented: "The way Wuhan played did not surprise us; we know what continental play is like, and they were very disciplined. I am very proud and happy because we were 1-0 down and managed to come back and not give up."

She added: "We had our fans, and we played on our home ground. I am very happy that we will play this first edition of the final in London; it's wonderful. We will be the first African country to do so, and this will go down in history, and we are continuing to write it."

AS FAR Rabat will face England's Arsenal in the semi-finals of the tournament, following Arsenal's triumph in the UEFA Women's Champions League. The semi-final matches, the third-place playoff, and the final will all take place in the British capital, London, between January 28 and February 1, 2026, at the Emirates Stadium and Gtech Community Stadium.
