Ultra Shark Mourns Safi Flood Victims, Demands Urgent Investigation and Accountability

Ultra Shark, the fan group supporting Olympique Safi, expressed its profound sorrow and regret following the tragedy that struck the old city on Sunday. The floods caused significant human and material losses.

In a statement, the group said: "Oh God, we ask for Your kindness and mercy in this distress. Oh God, be with us and our brethren in this tragedy that has afflicted Safi and its residents, following the devastating floods and torrents that resulted in deaths and claimed the lives of several residents of the old city. Oh God, have mercy on our martyrs, envelop them in Your mercy and forgiveness, and accept them among the righteous and the martyrs, O Most Merciful of the merciful."

Ultra Shark condemned the neglect suffered by the city, stating that the floods are a "direct result of the collapse of infrastructure, streets that swallow their inhabitants, absent or faulty drainage channels, and projects born on paper but dead in reality."

The group demanded an urgent and comprehensive investigation, "neither superficial nor selective, an investigation that calls things by their names and holds accountable everyone involved in this bleeding, from the smallest official to the biggest accomplice."

The Olympique Safi fan group questioned the reason behind closing the channels that drain into the sea for the purpose of repairing the railway lines used for phosphate transport, demanding justice to save what remains of the city's dignity.
