Olympique Safi player Cherki Bahri affirmed that his team faced significant difficulties during their match against Algeria's USM Alger, which ended in a 0-1 defeat for the Moroccan side in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
“I apologize to our fans for the performance in this match, as the encounter hinged on minor details,” Cherki Bahri stated in press remarks.
He continued: “We know that their experience played a major role, especially against USM Alger, who were crowned champions in the past two years and are considered among the contenders for the title this season. We hope to deliver a better performance under the leadership of Zakaria Aboub.”
