Olympique Safi Football Club expressed its profound sorrow and grief following the tragedy that struck the old city of Safi, after floods claimed the lives of several individuals.

In a statement, the Safi-based club said: "With hearts heavy with pain, and with profound sorrow and grief, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims of the floods that claimed the lives of several individuals in the old city."

The statement continued: "This painful tragedy has shaken hearts and left a deep wound in the souls of the residents and all those affected by this immense loss. We ask Almighty God to envelop the victims in His vast mercy, grant them a place in His spacious gardens, inspire their families and relatives with patience and solace, and bestow a swift recovery upon the injured."

Olympique Safi concluded its statement by adding: "We also express our full solidarity with all those affected, asking God to protect everyone from all harm."
