Sectioui: 'I Coach the Best Players,' Not a Second or Third Team
Tariq Sectioui, coach of the Moroccan national reserve team, rejected the classification of the squad he oversees as a "second or third" team. He stressed that this group played a crucial role in the national side reaching the semifinals of the Arab Cup.
Sectioui stated in press remarks: "I don't see myself coaching a second or third team. I coach the best players in terms of personality, love for their country, dedication on the field, desire, and responsibility."
He added: "I pray to God to protect you all. Thanks to them, we reached the semifinals of the Arab Cup, and I hope God grants us success to honor 40 million Moroccans."
The Moroccan reserve team is scheduled to face their Emirati counterparts tomorrow, Monday, starting at 3:30 PM (GMT+1).
