Algeria Qualifies for Arab Cup Quarter-Finals After 2-0 Victory Over Ten-Man Iraq

The Algerian national team has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup after securing a 2-0 victory over Iraq. The match, played today, Tuesday, was part of the final round of the group stage in the Arab tournament.
Early in the first half, the referee issued a red card to Iraqi player Hussein Ali Al-Saedi, forcing "The Lions of Mesopotamia" to play with ten men from the fifth minute onwards.
Algeria capitalized on their numerical advantage, scoring their first goal in the 45+1st minute. They then doubled their lead through an own goal by Iraqi player Saad Natiq in the 46th minute.
With this result, Algeria topped the group with 7 points, ahead of Iraq with 6 points, Bahrain with 3 points, and finally Sudan with one point.
