Renard Reflects on Saudi Arabia's Loss to Morocco: "We Didn't Respect Football"

Hervé Renard, coach of the Saudi national team, stated that his side delivered a good performance against Morocco in the third round of the Arab Cup group stage. However, he highlighted that despite their efforts, they failed to respect the fundamentals of football.

Following the match, which saw Morocco secure a 1-0 victory, Renard commented, "We played a good match, but we didn't respect football. And when you don't respect football, it's natural to lose."

It is worth noting that despite Saudi Arabia's 1-0 defeat to Morocco, both teams had already secured their qualification for the Arab Cup quarter-finals.
