Sektioui After Saudi Arabia Clash: "I Am Satisfied with the Players' Performance and Happy with What They Delivered"

National coach Tarik Sektioui, manager of the Moroccan B national team, affirmed that the victory over the Saudi national team was well-deserved. He noted that the squad delivered a great performance against a strong team comprising high-level players who are qualified for the World Cup.

Sektioui stated after the match: "We faced a strong team with great capabilities, and the match was not easy at all. In the Moroccan national team, we approach all opponents with respect, without giving any team more importance than it deserves, and at the same time, we do not underestimate any opponent, regardless of their name or standing."

The B national team coach added: "The difference in football is made by the players on the field, through the spirit of the jersey, heart, and defensive and offensive organization. I believe the match was enjoyable for the fans, and special thanks go to the players for their spirit, discipline, and fighting presence throughout the game."

Sektioui emphasized that the biggest mistake they could have made against Saudi Arabia was playing for a draw. He continued: "We entered the match with a winning mentality, and if we couldn't secure a victory, then at least we wouldn't lose. Thankfully, we came out with a positive result, and I am happy with what the players delivered."
