Regragui Travels to Washington for 2026 World Cup Draw

Moroccan national team coach Walid Regragui is expected to travel to Washington D.C. in the coming hours to attend the official draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals. The event is scheduled for Friday, December 5th, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The international event will see the participation of coaches from qualified national teams and representatives from participating football associations. Delegations from federations still vying for the final qualification spots for the global tournament will also be present.

The "Atlas Lions" will enter the draw placed in Pot 2, a position achieved thanks to their improved standing in the FIFA World Rankings.
