Wydad AC's Burkinabe midfielder, Aziz Kei, was transported to a clinic in Zanzibar after sustaining an injury during his team's match against hosts Azam FC of Tanzania. The incident occurred on Friday evening during the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

Kei's injury forced him to leave the pitch in the second half. He collapsed in pain and was stretchered off the field before an ambulance took him directly to the hospital for necessary medical examinations.
