Hadraf Ahead of Al Ahly Clash: 'We Hope Our Goals Will Count'
AS FAR player Abdelfattah Hadraf hopes that a goal for his team will be counted against Egyptian giants Al Ahly in their CAF Champions League group stage match tomorrow, Friday, scheduled for 20:00 GMT+1. The fixture is part of the second round of the group stage.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Hadraf stated, "When you are a player for AS FAR Club, you must be prepared to accept anything, whether positive or negative."
He added, "We are well-prepared and happy to meet our fans tomorrow, especially since we know the stadium will be completely full, which will provide us with additional motivation."
Regarding the refereeing, the player clarified, "As a player, it doesn't directly concern me, but it is unacceptable for us to score a goal and have it disallowed without reason. This is a significant disadvantage for us. 'Therefore, we hope, God willing, tomorrow when we score, the goal will be counted.' We aim to deliver a football spectacle and secure all three points."
