Al Ahly Holds First Training Session in Rabat Ahead of AS FAR Clash

Egyptian club Al Ahly conducted their first training session in Morocco on Wednesday, in preparation for their CAF Champions League group stage match against AS FAR. This fixture is part of the second round of the competition.

The Egyptian team trained at AS FAR's stadium in Maâmora, under the guidance of Danish coach Jess Thorup.

Al Ahly's delegation arrived at Rabat–Salé Airport earlier today following a five-hour journey. They were welcomed by Mustapha Abdelaziz, Vice President of AS FAR, and a delegation from the Egyptian Embassy led by Abu Bakr Al-Ashrafi.

Al Ahly will face hosts AS FAR this coming Friday at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in the capital Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
