Kvaratskhelia: "Hakimi Deserves African Player of the Year Award, He's Difficult to Replace"

Paris Saint-Germain player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has praised teammate Achraf Hakimi, emphasizing that the Moroccan international deserves to win the African Player of the Year award.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of the Parisian club's match against Tottenham, Kvaratskhelia stated: "Achraf Hakimi is difficult to replace, and he deserves to win the African Player of the Year award."

He concluded: "He was one of the best players last season. I hope he returns soon. He is a great player and a special person."

Hakimi was crowned the African Player of the Year for 2025 at a ceremony held at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.
