Nairobi Coach: "We Will Surprise Wydad; We Always Perform Better Away From Home"

Salim Ali, coach of Kenya's Nairobi United, affirmed that his team will surprise Wydad AC in their anticipated clash during the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Ali stated: "Wydad is a big team. They are new to the Confederation Cup once again, and for us too, this is our first time in this competition."

He continued: "I believe that for big clubs, they have had some wins and some losses here. As for us, we know very well that we always play well when we play away from home."

"I hope to see how my team will work as one unit, and of course, we will surprise Wydad," the Kenyan Nairobi United coach concluded his statement.

Wydad will host Nairobi United at Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, with the match kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
