Amrabat: "We Are Ready for Nairobi United and Here to Win Titles"
Wydad AC player Nordin Amrabat has affirmed his team's full readiness to face Kenya's Nairobi United in the opening match of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Amrabat stated, "Tomorrow is our first match in the continental competition, and we aim to achieve a good result and win the cup. The team underwent an excellent preparation period, and we have studied our opponent well."
He added, "Playing on our home ground in front of our fans gives us a great boost, and our primary goal is to secure the three points. We have many matches in January, and we will need every player to face the upcoming challenges."
Amrabat continued, "The atmosphere within the team has been fantastic since I arrived in May, and fan support this year has been excellent. The fans play a crucial role, and we must not forget that. We are here to win titles, not just to play."
He concluded, "Ziyech is an important addition to the team; he is a very good person, and the players are happy to have him with us. We are delighted with his arrival, and he will play a very significant role for us next January, God willing."
It is worth noting that the match between the two teams will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
