Aboub: Olympique Safi Strong Enough for Deep Confederation Cup Run

Zakaria Aboub, head coach of Olympique Safi, expressed confidence in his team's capabilities ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup group stage opener against Mali's Djoliba. Aboub believes his squad possesses significant potential to deliver strong performances in the continental competition.

"Olympique Safi is a strong team with its players, and I am confident in their abilities," Aboub stated during the pre-match press conference. "What distinguishes this competition is that it is played over six matches, which provides enough room to correct the course. Although some participating teams have previous experience and have won the cup, our team, in turn, possesses the strength and ability to compete to the farthest point."

The match is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, at the 26 March Stadium in Bamako, the Malian capital. Kick-off is set for 5 PM Moroccan time, marking the first round of the Confederation Cup group stage.
