Moroccan Clubs Begin Group Stage with Tough Weekend Fixtures

Moroccan clubs are gearing up for challenging encounters in African competitions this weekend. FAR Rabat, RS Berkane, Wydad AC, and Olympique Safi are set to play their opening fixtures in the group stage of both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

In the CAF Champions League, FAR Rabat will face Tanzania's Young Africans away tomorrow, Saturday, in their group stage opener, kicking off at 2 PM. On the same day, RS Berkane will host Zambia's Power Dynamos at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, a match where the Moroccan side aims for a strong start.

Turning to the CAF Confederation Cup, Olympique Safi will travel to Mali to take on Djoliba AC the day after tomorrow, Sunday, with the match starting at 5 PM. On the same Sunday, Wydad AC will host Kenya's Nairobi United, kicking off at 8 PM, as they seek to secure their first points in the group stage.
