Morocco's U17 national team players expressed their pride in reaching the quarter-finals of the FIFA U17 World Cup, following their 3-2 victory over Mali. They affirmed their readiness to face any opponent in the upcoming rounds.
Speaking to the press after the match, Mounsef Zakaria stated: "Mali is a very difficult team to beat; they have physically strong players. I am very happy with my team and everything they have shown, and I am proud of what we have achieved."
He added: "I see things positively. I don't underestimate our opponents, but I am extremely excited to face Brazil, as they are a great footballing nation, and we will do everything in our power to win."
