Baha: "The Sahara is Ours, and We've Qualified for the World Cup Quarter-Finals, So Everything is Going Well, Thank God"
Nabil Baha, coach of the Moroccan national team, dedicated the "Cubs'" qualification for the U-17 World Cup quarter-finals to the Moroccan fans, emphasizing that his squad aims to go far in the competition.
Following their 3-2 victory over Mali, Baha stated in press remarks: "We dedicate this qualification to our people on the occasion of Independence Day. At this moment, we feel nothing but joy. 'The Sahara is ours,' and the Moroccan U-17 national team is in the World Cup quarter-finals. Everything is going well, thank God."
He continued: "The messages we were conveying at the hotel after losing our first two matches were not easy. It's difficult to tell someone not to be afraid, that we still have time, but the players trusted themselves and knew the work they needed to do. They want to continue their journey here, they want to go far and make history. They are putting in great efforts, and we are like a family, which is the source of our strength."
He added: "Moroccan football is on the right track across all categories. The work being done is very good. When I see what they deliver in matches, I trust them, and I know they are capable of going far. We will approach each match individually."
