Joan Laporta, president of Spanish club Barcelona, spoke about the injury of young star Lamine Yamal, emphasizing that he is the best player in the world in his position.

Addressing Yamal's lifestyle off the pitch during a press conference, Laporta stated, "I am not at all worried about his lifestyle. He is a player who needs protection and support, but he is far more mature than any other player his age."

He continued, "He is currently suffering from groin pain, yet he is committed and has made contributions in past matches, which demonstrates his dedication as a footballer. He is a genius, and we must help him develop day by day because he has not yet reached the peak of his level. He is the best in the world in his position."

Regarding the young player's exclusion from the Spanish national team squad, Laporta commented, "We informed the Spanish Federation when we received the response from the doctor who examined him. Our doctors conveyed the matter to the Federation's doctors, and that's how things proceeded. We do not want any controversy regarding this matter."
