Al-Tair: "Our Win Over RS Berkane Was Ordinary; You Only Get Three Points"
Hilal Al-Tair, coach of Ittihad Tanger, described his team's 1-0 victory over RS Berkane in the eighth round of the Professional League as an ordinary outcome, asserting that his side fully deserved the win.
Al-Tair stated in press remarks, "The match unfolded exactly as we had planned, both defensively and offensively. In the second half, we were forced to make some tactical adjustments to restore balance after Anas Lemrabet's red card."
He continued, "It was a blessing in disguise, as the players demonstrated high levels of concentration after the sending off. Our victory against RS Berkane was well-deserved; we scored during our periods of strength and maintained a clean sheet when the opponent was strong."
Al-Tair added, "Nothing has changed; we consistently play well, and our tactical approach on the field is clear. The matches where we dropped points were due to 'Hitchcockian scenarios' involving two or three red cards – which only seems to happen in Tangier – or due to individual errors, or refereeing mistakes."
"'No team has ever truly dominated us or taught us a lesson in football,' and our win was normal. 'If you beat RS Berkane, you don't win 7 points, just 3'," Al-Tair concluded.
