
US Official: 2030 World Cup in Morocco Will Be 'Spectacular,' Casablanca Stadium 'Exceptional'
Andrew Giuliani, Executive Director of the White House Task Force for the 2026 World Cup, affirmed that the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco will co-host, promises to be an exceptional event on all levels.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Atlantic Council in Washington on the eve of the 2026 World Cup's launch, Giuliani stated, “I must say that, regarding Morocco in particular, the upcoming World Cup already looks amazing.”
The US official expressed great admiration for the Grand Casablanca Stadium, considering it will be one of the tournament's most prominent landmarks due to its unprecedented size and capacity.
He added, “This stadium looks incredible, with a capacity ranging between 120,000 and 130,000 seats, and I am very much looking forward to seeing its final form when it's ready.”
Giuliani oversees the task force appointed by US President Donald Trump to organize the 2026 World Cup on American soil. He believes that the sports facilities Morocco is preparing reflect a great ambition to ensure the success of the 2030 edition and deliver an exceptional tournament befitting the scale of the global event.
