Fire Erupts Near Switzerland's World Cup Training Camp After Previous Snake Warning

The vicinity of the Swiss national football team's training camp in San Diego, USA, experienced a tense situation after a brush fire erupted in the Sorrento Valley area, temporarily approaching the team's accommodation and training facilities during their World Cup preparations.

According to Swiss media outlets, including the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRF), the fire broke out yesterday, Monday, and quickly spread to within a short distance of the training center, just minutes away from the team's location.

The same source reported that the Swiss team's hotel was situated on the edge of the danger zone, prompting close monitoring by local authorities and FIFA security before fire crews later announced the situation was under control.
