Wahbi stated in a televised interview: "Nayef is progressing according to the plan and protocol we established from the beginning. We will give him this week as well, and he continues his training. We will know his condition precisely, and once his status is confirmed, we will make the appropriate decision."
He added: "We saw him with us on the field, which is very positive. He is a very important player within the squad, and we feel his value. We will assess his situation and that of the other players, but we remain optimistic."
