Chiba: 'Hassania Draw Not Our Goal, But a Fair Result'

Said Chiba, coach of Fath Union Sportif (FUS), stated that the goalless draw against Hassania Agadir was not the result his team had aimed for. He affirmed that their objective was to secure a victory and make up for the draw in their previous match.

Speaking exclusively to Al-Botola after the match, Chiba said: "A draw was not our objective, especially since we drew our previous game against a big team like AS FAR. Therefore, we were hoping to return from Agadir with all three points."

The FUS coach explained that the match was marked by intense competition and strength from both sides. He noted that the opposing team entered the encounter with great determination to win, which was clearly evident during several periods of the first half.

He added: "The overall atmosphere of the match was strong, as the opponent had clear objectives to win and showed that, especially at the start of the game. We managed to avoid conceding any goals in the first half, hoping that we would get an opportunity in the second half to snatch all three points."

Chiba indicated that his team created some chances during the second half but failed to convert them into goals. He affirmed that the draw remains a logical outcome given what both teams presented on the field.

He concluded by saying: "We had some opportunities to score, but we couldn't capitalize on them. Ultimately, it remains a fair result considering what both we and the opposing team offered."

Fath Union Sportif secured a goalless draw away to Hassania Agadir in the match played between the two teams today, Thursday, as part of Matchday 22 of the Botola Pro.
