AS FAR Rabat missed an opportunity to claim sole leadership of the Professional League after being held to a 1-1 draw by their rivals FUS Rabat. The match, played this Saturday evening, was a postponed fixture from Week 21 of the competition.
FUS Rabat took the lead in the 13th minute when AS FAR defender Mendy inadvertently scored an own goal, giving the visitors an advantage in the first half.
In the second half, Mendy redeemed himself by scoring the equalizer for AS FAR in the 50th minute. This brought the game back to square one and kept his team's hopes alive for a positive result.
