Bensghir Pledges "100% Support" for Morocco at World Cup

Elias Bensghir affirmed his full support for the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup, despite his absence from the "Atlas Lions" squad, expressing his wishes for the national players to go far in the tournament.

Bensghir posted a message via an Instagram story, stating: "I wanted to write to you to sincerely thank you for the many supportive and encouraging messages I have received in recent days. Your words have deeply touched me."

He continued: "I will be 100% behind the national team during this competition, and I wish for the entire team to go as far as possible, because before I was a player, I was, still am, and always will be a fan of the national team."

It is worth noting that the 2026 World Cup finals will kick off on June 11, with the draw placing the Moroccan national team in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
