Fadlu Davids Prioritizes Lilepo for Raja's Attack

Raja Club Athletic has entered negotiations to sign Congolese winger Glody Lilepo from South African club Kaizer Chiefs, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

South African media reports indicate that the player is close to leaving his current team, especially after a message he posted on his official Instagram account hinted at the imminent end of his journey with the South African club.

The same sources clarified that Raja's management is closely monitoring the player's situation, given the technical staff's desire, led by Fadlu Davids, to strengthen the squad with new attacking elements in preparation for next season.

This comes as Kaizer Chiefs' management has yet to decide on the player's future, despite his contract with the team nearing its end by next June, which opens the door for a potential free transfer.

Lilepo has played 27 matches for Kaizer Chiefs this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. His overall tally with the team stands at 10 goals and 5 assists over two seasons.

Reports also suggest that the player may have played his last game for the South African team, having been sent off in the last match after receiving two yellow cards, despite contributing to the winning goal.
