Stuttgart Sporting Director on El Khannouss Signing: "He Possesses Exceptional Footballing Abilities"
Fabian Wohlgemuth, Stuttgart's Sporting Director, has praised the potential of Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss following the activation of his permanent purchase option, a move prompted by his impressive performances for the team last season.
Speaking to the German club's official website, Wohlgemuth affirmed that El Khannouss successfully established himself within the squad despite his young age, noting that the player has demonstrated significant technical and tactical abilities with both Stuttgart and the Moroccan national team.
The club's sporting official stated: “Bilal delivered convincing performances in all competitions for Stuttgart last season, and he also plays a pivotal role within the Moroccan national team despite his young age.”
He added: “Bilal already possesses exceptional footballing abilities, and at the same time, we see great potential for his development. Therefore, we are convinced that he has not yet reached his full capabilities.”
It is worth noting that VfB Stuttgart announced on Monday the activation of El Khannouss's purchase clause, with the player signing a long-term contract extending until 2028.
