Stuttgart Nears Permanent Signing of El Khannouss
German club VfB Stuttgart has reportedly settled the future of Moroccan international player Bilal El Khannouss following his impressive performances for the team. According to "kicker" magazine, all conditions for activating the mandatory purchase option have now been met, extending the player's contract with the club until June 2030.
After El Khannouss played 30 official matches for Stuttgart, the club became obligated to activate the mandatory purchase option stipulated in his loan agreement with Leicester City. The German club will pay an additional €17 million, as per the contract agreement, on top of the €3 million previously transferred as a loan fee.
The same source indicated that despite these developments, no official confirmations have been issued by the involved parties yet. All parties have reportedly preferred to focus on discussing the young Moroccan player's potential and outstanding performances, praising his capabilities and effective contributions to the team across various competitions.
