Yamal posted the phrase "Talk is cheap" in a message that appeared to be a direct retort to Bellingham. The English international had previously used the same phrase after Real Madrid's 2-1 win in the first El Clásico of the season, aiming to criticize media statements made by the young Barcelona player prior to that match, which saw Real Madrid emerge victorious.

Despite Yamal's absence from Barcelona's squad in the title-clinching match due to injury, he was eager to engage with the domestic championship by sending this message. His official absence from the pitch for the remainder of the current season has also been confirmed.
