Camp Nou witnessed a historic night in the top match of the 35th round of the Spanish League, as Barcelona won the "Clásico" by defeating their traditional rivals Real Madrid 2-0.
Marcos Rashford scored the first goal in the 9th minute from a direct free-kick, followed by Ferran Torres in the 18th minute. With this valuable victory, Barcelona officially secured the La Liga title for the 2025-2026 season with three rounds remaining, celebrating the championship among their fans and in front of their traditional rivals.
With this win, Barcelona raised their points total to 91. They will now aim to win their remaining three matches to finish the season with 100 points, becoming the team to achieve this feat twice, having previously done so in the 2012-2013 season.
By clinching the La Liga title, Barcelona has now won the Spanish league for the 29th time in their history, and for the second consecutive time under German coach Hansi Flick.
