Saibari Continues Injury Absence for PSV, Coach Hopeful for Next Week Return
Moroccan international Ismael Saibari continues to miss matches for his Dutch club PSV Eindhoven due to injury.
Dutch media reports previously confirmed that the Moroccan player is currently undergoing a special rehabilitation program with his team's medical staff. This program aims to prepare him for a gradual return to competition and to fully regain his physical fitness, especially with upcoming international commitments, most notably the World Cup, on the horizon.
During the press conference preceding the match against Go Ahead Eagles, PSV coach Peter Bosz addressed Saibari's situation, confirming that the player is not yet ready to participate. Bosz stated, “Ismael Saibari is not ready yet, and he might be ready next week against Twente.”
Conversely, the Dutch team's coach also mentioned the potential return of Moroccan player Anass Salah-Eddine to the squad, explaining, “If Anass Salah-Eddine successfully completes tomorrow's training, he will return to the lineup.”
These developments come less than a month and a half before the start of the World Cup, raising questions about the readiness of some key players for the Moroccan national team. Among them are Ismael Saibari and Anass Salah-Eddine, who are considered vital players for the national coach in the upcoming period.
