Real Madrid has announced the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni, following incidents that occurred during the team's training session on Thursday morning.
The Royal Club clarified in an official statement that this decision comes after events during the team's practice, without disclosing additional details about the nature of the incident.
The statement added that the club will announce its final decisions regarding both cases in due course, once the internal procedures adopted within the team are concluded.
In a related context, Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that the training session witnessed a clash between the two players, which resulted in Valverde being taken to the hospital.
In a separate medical update, Real Madrid clarified that following examinations conducted by the medical staff, Valverde was diagnosed with a head injury (concussion).
The club confirmed that the player is currently at home and in good condition, and will observe a rest period of 10 to 14 days, in accordance with the medical protocols established for this type of injury.
