Fadlu: "Bougrine is Injured, I Hope He's Ready for the Derby; Sakho Suffers from Muscle Strain"
Raja Club Athletic coach, Fadlo Davids, spoke about the team's injured players, highlighting the increasingly challenging nature of the professional league due to the similar levels among national clubs.
During the press conference following the victory over Difaâ El Jadidi, Davids stated: "Tactically, the plan we implemented against Difaâ El Jadidi was executed very well in the first half. There wasn't a single shot on our goal. What I can comment on is our failure to capitalize on opportunities; we could have scored two, three, or even more goals."
He elaborated: "I was here two years ago, and what I've noticed is a significant improvement in the league. Any team can beat another. With such a close level of competition, if you don't score the second and third goals to kill off the game, you make things difficult for yourself, and that's what happened to us in the second half."
Davids added: "We've played five matches in 14 days. The most important thing is to secure the points from each game. Now, we've begun our recovery phase before traveling to face Maghreb de Fès."
Regarding injuries, he continued: "Sabir Bougrine has sustained an injury, and I hope he will be ready for the Derby. Meanwhile, Sakho is suffering from a muscle strain."
On Ayoub Amloud's performance, Davids explained: "He was the secret weapon in the Difaâ El Jadidi match. We asked him to help us defensively and to provide an attacking overload, and these tasks are physically demanding."
He concluded: "Thankfully, we only have one significant injury. However, several players, including Moukaddem, need their playing minutes managed according to the medical staff's advice, so they can be ready not just physically but also tactically."
