Hans Flick: "We Are Very Close to Winning La Liga... I Won't Watch Real Madrid, I'll Spend the Evening with My Wife"
Barcelona coach Hans Flick affirmed that his team secured a crucial and hard-fought 2-1 victory against Osasuna, indicating that the team is very close to clinching the Spanish La Liga title this season.
Following the match, Hans Flick stated in a press conference: "I am happy; it wasn't easy to win tonight, and the opponent also had chances to score. The second half was much better, and we managed to raise our tempo and move the ball more effectively."
He added: "We aimed for victory, and it was a complicated match, especially in the first half, but we managed to deal with the situation in the second half and score two important goals. I am happy for the team and the fans."
Flick continued: "We had more control in the first half, and we made some tactical changes. We brought on De Jong instead of Gavi to avoid a red card, and we also played at a faster pace with Rashford and Ferran Torres."
Flick clarified: "We are very close to winning the La Liga title, and this is our primary goal. We have given everything for this club and its fans."
He further elaborated: "It's still too early to celebrate; we have to wait for the results of our competitors, but the most important thing is that we have done our duty perfectly."
Regarding watching the Real Madrid match, he said: "I won't watch the match; it doesn't concern me right now. I'll spend the evening with my wife instead, and if anything new happens, I'll find out later."
