The Ghana Football Association (GFA) officially announced in a statement that it has been awarded the honor of hosting the 2027 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, following a decision by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The GFA noted that its General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, received a letter from CAF confirming Ghana's selection to host the upcoming edition of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana's hosting of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations coincides with the 70th anniversary of the country's independence. This will be the second time Ghana hosts the tournament, having previously done so in 1999.
