In a statement, the Ghana Football Association conveyed its condolences: “The Ghana Football Association extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, his teammates, technical staff, management, and all components of Berekum Chelsea Football Club during this difficult time.”

The statement continued: “This tragic incident is a great loss not only for Berekum Chelsea but for Ghanaian football as a whole. Dominic was a promising young talent who embodied the spirit of the league through his dedication and passion.”

The GFA confirmed it is in constant communication with the club and relevant authorities, including the Ghana Police, as investigations continue to uncover the circumstances of this unfortunate incident, urging all necessary measures to ensure justice is served.
