Will Raja Ultras Boycott "El Clásico" Due to AS FAR Officials' Refusal to Facilitate Logistics?
Raja Club Athletic's ultras are reportedly considering boycotting the upcoming "El Clásico" match against AS FAR, scheduled for the 17th round of the Botola Pro Inwi.
According to a source close to the "Green" club, this potential boycott stems from AS FAR officials' refusal to facilitate logistical aspects with their counterparts at Raja Club Athletic, leading to tension between the two sides.
The same source explained that AS FAR officials stipulated that Raja officials travel to Rabat on the day of the match, like most fans, to purchase tickets. This condition has caused significant dissatisfaction within the "Green" club and raised concerns among the Casablanca team's components regarding the organizational aspects of the encounter, especially given the match's importance and sensitivity.
In the same context, the source informed "Al-Botola" that authorities have prohibited fans from traveling to Rabat without possessing a match ticket. This further complicates the situation and makes the boycott option a strong consideration for Raja's supporters.
Traditionally, the host team is responsible for providing and sending tickets for the visiting team after sale, ensuring fans can attend under suitable conditions and avoiding any chaos or organizational issues, as was the case in the first leg between the two teams.
Raja Club Athletic will visit AS FAR next Thursday, with the match kicking off at 6:00 PM (GMT+1) at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
