Real Betis secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Girona in a match played this Tuesday evening, as part of La Liga's 33rd round.
Girona opened the scoring early through Viktor Tsygankov in the 7th minute. Betis then found their way back into the game, equalizing in the 23rd minute courtesy of Marc Roca, assisted by Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli.
Ezzalzouli continued his impressive form, scoring Betis' second goal in the 63rd minute, further cementing his strong presence in the match.
However, Girona quickly responded, with Moroccan international Ounahi netting the equalizer from a penalty kick in the 68th minute.
In the closing minutes, Betis sealed the encounter in their favor when Rodrigo Riquelme scored the third goal in the 80th minute, following a second crucial assist from Ezzalzouli, who delivered an outstanding performance throughout the match.
Girona had previously scored a third goal through Ounahi, but it was disallowed by the referee for offside.
