Milan Confirms Continued Collaboration with Allegri for Long-Term Sporting Project
AC Milan Sporting Director Egli Tare has confirmed that the club is currently collaborating with coach Massimiliano Allegri to plan for the team's future. Tare made these remarks ahead of Milan's match against hosts Verona, praising the coach's performance this season and noting that the club's strategy aligns perfectly with his technical vision.
Tare further explained that Allegri is bound by a long-term contract with the Italian club, which provides a stable environment for developing the significant sporting projects the coach prefers to oversee. "He has done a great job this season, and he still has a long contract," Tare said. "As he himself mentioned yesterday, he prefers to plan and build an important project, and this is what we are working on together for the future." He affirmed that this direction has the full backing of the club's management.
Despite this forward-looking approach, AC Milan management's immediate focus remains on securing qualification for the Champions League. This objective is considered a prerequisite for initiating more detailed discussions. Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimović are expected to join these talks once the seasonal goals are achieved, aiming to contribute to formulating a comprehensive technical project that ensures competitiveness in the upcoming season.
